Migiwa Ergonomic Left Handed

Designed for the left hand — not adapted, designed. The KAI-KASHO Migiwa Left-Handed scissors give left-handed stylists a properly configured tool: offset handle, flat screw, and a blade geometry that works with the natural motion of the left hand, not against it.

Migiwa is made from 9Cr18 stainless steel using MIM — Metal Injection Moulding. This high-carbon, high-chromium martensitic steel is known for its corrosion resistance, hardness, and edge retention. MIM production achieves the tight tolerances and precision fit of traditional forging at a price point that reflects the start of a career, not the peak of one.

Designed by KAI in Japan. Crafted in a KAI factory. This is an entry into the KAI-KASHO family — a scissors that outperforms its price and lasts long enough to grow with you.

Your KASHO scissors are precision instruments. A simple daily ritual keeps them performing at their best.

Clean after every use. Wipe the blades clean after every client using a soft Kasho leather cloth. Hair residue and product build-up accelerate wear. A clean blade holds its edge longer.

Oil the pivot daily. Apply a drop of oil to the pivot point each day using the Kasho oil pen. It keeps the cutting action smooth and protects the steel against corrosion.

Check the tension. Check and adjust the screw tension before you begin. Correct tension reduces hand fatigue and extends the working life of the blade.

Store them properly. Store your scissors closed, in a case or holder, away from sterilisation liquids, perm, and colour solutions. These chemicals corrode even the finest steel.

Protect the blades. When cutting hair, avoid clipping on combs or slides — it may scratch or nick your blades.

Leave sharpening to the experts. Sharpening and servicing should be carried out only by a KASHO technician.

Precision tools require precision care — and the KASHO Ultimate Edge is worth protecting.
