Chrome

The embodiment of a contemporary KASHO scissors. The Chrome Series is the entry-level model — and when you first use it, it is difficult to understand that this is what entry level means.

Semi-convex blades, hollow ground and finely honed, finished to a satin lustre from VG-10W steel. The camelback offset handle distributes pressure evenly across every cut; the gracefully forged finger rest adds control and a touch of traditional craft to a thoroughly modern tool. The flat ratchet screw allows step-less tension adjustment — find your optimal setting and hold it, session after session.

This is for hairdressers who want their first professional scissors to be a KASHO: a tool built to the same engineering standard as the range above it, at a price that reflects the beginning of a career rather than its peak.

Your KASHO scissors are precision instruments. A simple daily ritual keeps them performing at their best.

Clean after every use. Wipe the blades clean after every client using a soft Kasho leather cloth. Hair residue and product build-up accelerate wear. A clean blade holds its edge longer.

Oil the pivot daily. Apply a drop of oil to the pivot point each day using the Kasho oil pen. It keeps the cutting action smooth and protects the steel against corrosion.

Check the tension. Check and adjust the screw tension before you begin. Correct tension reduces hand fatigue and extends the working life of the blade.

Store them properly. Store your scissors closed, in a case or holder, away from sterilisation liquids, perm, and colour solutions. These chemicals corrode even the finest steel.

Protect the blades. When cutting hair, avoid clipping on combs or slides — it may scratch or nick your blades.

Leave sharpening to the experts. Sharpening and servicing should be carried out only by a KASHO technician.

Precision tools require precision care — and the KASHO Ultimate Edge is worth protecting.
