Your KASHO texturizers are precision instruments. A simple daily ritual keeps them performing at their best.

Clean after every use. Wipe the blades clean after every client using a soft Kasho leather cloth. Hair residue and product build-up accelerate wear. A clean blade holds its edge longer.

Oil the pivot daily. Apply a drop of oil to the pivot point each day using the Kasho oil pen. It keeps the cutting action smooth and protects the steel against corrosion.

Check the tension. Check and adjust the screw tension before you begin. Correct tension reduces hand fatigue and extends the working life of the blade.

Store them properly. Store your texturizers closed, in a case or holder, away from sterilisation liquids, perm, and colour solutions. These chemicals corrode even the finest steel.

Release cleanly. When removing the blade from hair, allow the tapered-teeth design to release cleanly — no force required. The technique is built into the tool.

Leave sharpening to the experts. Sharpening and servicing should be carried out only by a KASHO technician.
