A texturizer is more than just a tool for thinning hair, and a Kasho texturizer is an instrument that truly allows creativity to flow freely. From perfectly thinning and blending hair without any trace of a thinning scissor, to adding choppy and aggressive texture, there is a scissor to meet every cutting-need.

LET US EXPLAIN

Now the choice of scissor-style comes down to the desired final result. With three options for the amount of texturizer-teeth available across our ranges, each has a different purpose.

15 Teeth

For blending and finishing.

30 Teeth

For adding texture and blending.

38 Teeth

For thinning and removing bulk.

Then comes the difference between a scissor with top-teeth, where the teeth are above the cutting blade, or with bottom-teeth, where the teeth are below the cutting blade. A third unique style of texturizer also offers teeth on both top and bottom blades.

Top Teeth

Primarily for the ‘classic men’s’ cut and for generally shorter hair and shorter transitions, with a duller finish and harder contours.

Bottom Teeth

Primarily for long hair, as the hair enters the teeth better, and for taking volume out of thicker hair, with a softer finish and softer contours.

Hybrid

Whilst the purpose is the same, having teeth on both blades makes thinning much less time-consuming with an even softer finish.

TEETH-TECHNOLOGY

Each of our texturizing scissors features intricate tapered-teeth technology, preventing any snagging or pulling when removing the blade from hair for a perfectly tangle-free and effortless finish. The top-of-the-line Green range have innovative curved teeth, so that each individual tooth meets the cutting blade at the same angle for a precise cut and evenly distributed cutting pressure.
